Totaling over $1 million in value, their 1,100 varietal selection is the largest in the state. The cellar is donned with floor-to-ceiling redwood racks and a separate tasting area for private seminars with the Sommelier. The cellar is maintained at a constant temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 percent humidity. The Lodge offers many activities in the wine cellar including a blind tasting and a guest-curated tasting where guests can hand pick the wines they taste.

Stein Lodge’s brand new 56-seat Freestyle Theater is a popular addition to the hotel. This was designed with the hotels new $14 million expansion. They have family-friendly movie showtimes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and when the films aren’t playing they have sports on the big screen to entertain the guests. The Stein Lodge truly has something for everyone!

It wouldn’t be a complete ski-cation without indulging in a spa treatment. At the Stein Eriksen Spa, you can treat yourself to a variety of services including a healing Oxygen Treatment or an Altitude Relief treatment. Their spa offers many ways to unwind after a week of activities including specialty rooms such as a Vichy wet treatment room, private couple’s relaxation room, manicure/pedicure stations, & even a hair and makeup salon to get pampered for dinner at Giltritend.

The Stein Eriksen Lodge is not only great for a romantic getaway, it’s perfect for multi-generational travel. Bring the whole family and enjoy all of the fun amenities the Lodge has to offer including their “Little Explorers Experience”, which includes an indoor camping set up for the little ones. The Lodge will provide you with all of the amenities to create a memorable indoor camp out for the kids. Don’t stress as everything is set up in your room pre-arrival, and includes a cloth tent, plush toy moose, National Geographic Starry Night Lantern, and an educational nature book. 7. brand new $14 million expansion
The new expansion was completed and opened in September of 2018 and includes additions designed to elevate the guests’ experience at the Lodge. Among the additions is a brand new family-friendly pool with convenient access to the new outdoor Champions Plaza and Champions Club entertainment center, sure to keep your children occupied and entertained for hours! Both the Champions Plaza and entertainment center were new additions in the expansion, with the Plaza offering the perfect après-ski space. Complete with two fire pits and heated walk ways, the plaza is ski-in/ski-out and the perfect place to enjoy a hot chocolate while watching skiers cascade down the mountainside. Adjacent to the Plaza is the Champions Club Entertainment Center, which is a perfect place to send the kids while you enjoy your post-ski cocktail at the Plaza. The center includes a mixture of high-tech and old school games, a fun environment to spend quality time. The additions also include the new First Tracks Kaffe Coffee Shop located slope side, and the Freestyle Movie Theater. One of the more exciting additions is the Lodge’s brand new Ski Locker Room facility, which is the one-stop-shop to get you out on the slopes ASAP!
