Everywhere You Should Add To Your BucketList

Lebanon

Lebanon is the gateway between the Middle East and the West. A country that offers tradition and modernization,  historical sights, landscapes that vary from coastal to rugged mountains and fortresses and grottos. You can hike in the Qadisha Valley, marvel at Roman temples, sample traditional foods and dance the night away in Beirut. There is truly something here for everyone and it is a great place to gain insight on another culture.

Cartagena is a city that offers the perfect taste to those coming from other continents. You can walk through the old walled city past the clock tower, you can taste local candies and treats on El Portal de los Dulces and then head back out to Getsemaní for local street art, affordable restaurants and the buzz of the city. There are beautiful churches, amazing food and great drinks, not to mention plenty of places to shop and find locally made souvenirs.

More and more people are traveling to the edges of the world to see jaw-dropping landscapes that a decade or two ago most people thought they could never reach. Patagonia is one of those places that has spiked in popularity. Spanning through Argentina and Chile’s Los Glaciares National Park the mountains, forests and fjords can conjure every kind of feeling. Many tour companies offer Patagonia trekking and excursions from nearby cities. This destination is at the top of the list for many of our employees as well. One quick google search and we think it will be at the top of yours too!

Moab, Utah

We often overlook what is in our own backyard. Only a few hours away from either coast lies Moab, Utah, between Canyonlands and Arches National Park. Utah has five national parks, coming in third out of the states for quantity. Boasting red rocks jutting towards the sky, there are over 2,000 natural stone arches throughout the park. Canyonlands, the largest of Utah’s parks has miles of roads and valleys with viewpoints to take in all that the land has to offer. The Island in the Sky is one of the most popular stops. You can drive over the 1,500 foot mesa and see for over 100 miles.

Hurtigruten, one of the cutting edge cruise lines who introduced the world’s first hybrid cruise ship has an amazing itinerary heading down south. The European cruise line offers unique excursions for a once in a lifetime experience including camping through the night. If the Drake Passage is the only obstacle holding you back from investigating this vast terrain, Silversea Luxury Cruises may be an option as well. Fly from Punta Arenas directly to Antarctica and hop aboard the Silver Explorer. You can skip the “Drake Shake” and still experience the beauty of Antarctica.

Gothenburg, Sweden

Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden has become the hub of culture, with cafes, shops, gardens, nightlife, amusement parks and museums.
