Santa Barbara Travel Bureau is proud to announce its 75th Anniversary as a locally owned and operated travel agency, with offices in Montecito and Santa Barbara. In honor of this landmark, a series of client appreciation events and giveaways are scheduled throughout the year.
The personalized customer service that our experienced travel advisors provide has led to loyal clients and it’s time to celebrate that relationship! Giving away round-trip tickets on Turkish Air last month, was just the beginning. To continue thanking our valued clients, we are giving away two ski passes and two nights at the Viceroy Snowmass Aspen (keep reading for details) and next month- three nights in a Singita luxury African safari camp!
To increase its breadth of offerings, the Travel Bureau has partnered with Global Travel Collection. “The initial goal was to increase our ability to support clients in the television and film industry by expanding our multi-state and international ticketing capability”, notes David de L’Arbre, the company’s Chief Operating Officer. “What we gained as an added benefit was an entire spectrum of enhanced hotel, car rental, cruise, and airline relationships that generate tremendous value for our all of our clients.”
Santa Barbara Travel’s focus on customer service has been a core principle since the company was founded by Bertie de L’Arbre in 1947. Over its 75 year history the company has evolved to meet the changing demands of travelers. The importance of customer service and personal relationships with clients has become even more valuable as the travel landscape evolves.
“The internet has great deal of information but very little knowledge”, points out Charles de L’Arbre, Santa Barbara Travel’s CEO. “As travel becomes increasingly global and the airline system more prone to delays and cancellations our role as travel advisors is even more important. Unlike the airlines and travel sites we answer the phone and can offer the customer service solutions that our competitors can’t.”
Santa Barbara Travel Bureau has successfully delivered fabulous travel experiences for 75 years and plans to continue serving its clients with the same commitment to service that was the pillar of its creation.
