Havasu Falls, Arizona

Havasu Falls is a dazzling aqua-blue Havasupai Waterfall and tops our beauty list for domestic travel close to California. Watching the water spill over deep-orange, travertine cliffs in a desert oasis- is truly a gift.

The stark contrast between the arid desert landscape of the Havasu Canyon and the lush vegetation near the water is breathtaking. The five Havasupai Falls include: Navajo Falls, Fifty Foot Falls, Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls and Beaver Falls. All are located on the Havasupai Indian reservation in a side canyon of the Grand Canyon. Norway, Lofoten Islands

Known for the electric northern lights, the midnight sun and picturesque small villages, Lofoten is a jewel.
