I have been a travel advisor for 38 years and love my work. It has given me the opportunity to connect with people in a very personal way. I’ve come to know their families, their likes and dislikes and their special requests. Many of my clients have become personal friends. Since I have a very large family of children and grandchildren, I am cognizant of what it takes to make a large group happy. One of my clients calls me her travel psychologist as we try to figure out the dynamics of family travel. Throughout this time I have had an opportunity to go to many parts of the world and to experience many special places. Among my favorites are Israel, Africa, Italy, France, United Kingdom, South America, Mexico and China. Cruising is also one of life’s great pleasures. Multigenerational travel is also one of my interests. I am also the concierge for the Ojai Music Festival, booking lodging and advising visitors where to eat and what to do.
I start my day without fail with some form of exercise-leading 3 mile walks at the Oaks of Ojai-a destination spa or spinning or Zumba or Jazz. I am also president of my Temple, active with our local hospital, and concierge of the Ojai music Festival. I have a very large blended family-17 grandchildren and that keeps me very busy but in touch with young people and their friends.
